Job Description
The Development Support Engineer helps customer support and Infor development teams in analyzing and solving issues encountered while using the multi-tenant cloud Infor OS ION CE product. The engineer is part of the ION Enterprise Service Bus development team and is primarily responsible for solving customer problems while working with the support of other team members.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Triage incoming issues related to the Infor OS ION CE product
  • Solve reported issues where possible, if needed by being creative in finding workarounds and manage progress if others are involved to solve issues
  • Use analytical skills to identify the root cause of the issues reported
  • Help support and development in analyzing issues
  • Keep work logs of all issues reported by customers

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a technical support environment
  • Data analysis experience
  • Internal and external communication skills including oral, written, presentation, and active listening
  • Ability to participate in standby shifts during the weekend
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of technical oriented software, like databases and SQL, operating systems, (REST) APIs
  • Development experience, preferably using Java
  • Familiar with tools like AWS (Amazon Web Services) services, Sumo Logic, Jira, Grafana, Atlassian wiki
  • Experience working with people in an international environment
  • Knowledge of the Infor OS ION product
