Job Summary:
As a Production Planner, you are expected to prepare detailed weekly and monthly plans for final product and/or sub-assemblies and track KPIs; track issues for production plans and KPIs, and review and execute exception message proposals in Syteline to maintain proper production priorities.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
0 - 2 years of manufacturing or materials experience
Familiar with production environment
Working knowledge of MRP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Practical knowledge of Syteline
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel specifically)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed weekly and monthly plans for Final product and/or sub-assemblies and track KPIs
Track issues for production plans and KPIs
Review and execute exception message proposals in Syteline to maintain proper production priorities
Analyze the capacity of the work centers and the load requirements by level to ensure that the production program is met and that it is efficient
Perform raw material and sub-assembly availability checks
Attend and present at production meetings where problems are discussed and resolved, to ensure that the program is followed
Provide prioritization for raw material or finished good release
Establish and maintain relationships with Purchasing, Material flow, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure production plans are met
Release production orders for re-work; monitor inventory levels
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
