Job Summary:

As a Production Planner, you are expected to prepare detailed weekly and monthly plans for final product and/or sub-assemblies and track KPIs; track issues for production plans and KPIs, and review and execute exception message proposals in Syteline to maintain proper production priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • 0 - 2 years of manufacturing or materials experience

  • Familiar with production environment

  • Working knowledge of MRP systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • Practical knowledge of Syteline

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel specifically)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly plans for Final product and/or sub-assemblies and track KPIs

  • Track issues for production plans and KPIs

  • Review and execute exception message proposals in Syteline to maintain proper production priorities

  • Analyze the capacity of the work centers and the load requirements by level to ensure that the production program is met and that it is efficient

  • Perform raw material and sub-assembly availability checks

  • Attend and present at production meetings where problems are discussed and resolved, to ensure that the program is followed

  • Provide prioritization for raw material or finished good release

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Purchasing, Material flow, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure production plans are met

  • Release production orders for re-work; monitor inventory levels

  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
