National Grid is hiring a Project Manager for our Gas Complex Project Management department in Waltham, MA. This is a hybrid role, with approximately 1-2 days in the office or at the job site weekly.

Our team collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute large complex gas projects while maintaining schedule and budget and mitigating risks.

Responsible for managing gas complex capital projects in the New England territory from inception through construction and closeout, which will allow for the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to existing and future customers. You will also be assisting project managers that are managing programmatic work including analyzing data, tracking KPIs, generating reports, and administrative project management activities.

Daily responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

* Perform Project Management functions to ensure the successful completion of capital construction projects. Such projects may include distribution gas main, lining, and bridge/water crossings

* Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to share best practices

* Discover the best methods to integrate data from several sources to drive project performance

* Assist Project Managers to drive efficiencies across projects for on-schedule, on budget delivery in alignment with company values, safety objectives and quality standards. This includes preparing charts, graphs and detailed statistical analysis

* Bachelor's degree is required

* Experience in construction management, project management, or engineering including demonstrated experience with the delivery of projects preferred

* Familiar with relevant software e.g. Maximo, SAP, and Microsoft Office (PowerBI, Access, Excel) a plus

* Demonstrates the ability to interpret information and analyze relationships among several parts of a problem or situation in order to clearly articulate the findings.

* Valid driver's license required
