We are searching for a Truck Driver to work in our Pet Segment, providing logistics, production, and maintenance support at our Sun Pet location in Murfreesboro, TN. This position primarily involves loading freight onto trucks for deliveries. Primary job duties are driving, delivering, and unloading freight to various locations and businesses. Other duties involving errands, picking up supplies, supporting maintenance and production crews are also typical.
Shift Details: Tuesday-Friday, 5 AM Start time. End of day varies depending upon shipments and duties anticipated each day.
Location: Murfreesboro, TN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Loading individual customer orders on trucks in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Effectively interpret and understand the paperwork provided to assist in organizing the shipments.
  • Unload or deliver the orders intact, confirming box counts, etc. to air cargo or customer location.
  • Maintain a pleasant working relationship with our contacts.
  • Maintain trucks in a clean, operational manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability and willingness to work with others.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable driving trucks as large as a 26' box truck.
  • Maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Ability to lift packages to 50 lbs. or more.
