POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Assistant Manager/Manager Key Account Technology

DIV/DEPARTMENT NAME: Semiconductor Equipment Division (SED)

REPORTS TO: Senior Business Development Manager

POSITION STATUS: Full-Time

LOCATION: NCP

WORK STYLE DESIGNATION: Hybrid (+50% Onsite)

WORK STYLE REQUIREMENT: 4 days onsite/1 day remote

FLSA STATUS (E or N): Exempt

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Up to 30%

EXPECTED PAY RANGE: $103,770-174,291 annually

This pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager - Key Account position supports the business objectives of HTA's Semiconductor Equipment Division (SED) related to sales of plasma etch equipment to the semiconductor industry. The position will engage the customer, HHT (both Kasado and Tokyo) as well as intra-HTA departments to ensure effective management of the key accounts. The Manager - Key Account is expected to effectively manage multiple programs / projects simultaneously to meet business objectives in an efficient manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The primary responsibility for this position includes managing certain aspects of SED's business with key accounts, including, but not limited to, overseeing internal and external projects, and effectively communicating details needed to achieve the business goals and objectives. This position will have both technical and commercial responsibilities.
  • Candidate must be able to develop and create strategies for retaining and expanding our business. This includes internal and external project promotion and project management.
  • May be required to manage and mentor direct reports in their support roles of SED's business objectives with the key accounts.
  • Daily activities will include a wide range of tasks driving customer directed and internal activities including configuration management activities, CIP projects, technology node support, and other account support activities.
  • Candidate must drive and oversee the development of presentation materials and technical information to communicate both emerging HTA technologies, and technical issues for customer meetings.
  • Manage sufficient resource consumption of process engineer time and tool time while balancing project priorities.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates should have as a minimum a four-year technical degree with emphasis on electronics or electromechanical devices.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Should have 3+ years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment etch technology.
  • Experience can substitute for educational requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of Etch system design.
  • Should possess a general understanding of etch process theory.
  • Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical individuals to accomplish goals.
  • Should interact extensively with the Account Team and customer contacts.
  • Travel is required to attend face-to-face meetings at any of the customer locations, and periodic travel to the factory and Tokyo to interface with HHT personnel.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess strong technical and administrative skills.
  • Ability to comprehend how engineering changes affect both tool operation and impact to supply chain.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Ability to track progress of multiple different projects simultaneously and keep them on schedule
  • Should possess good interpersonal skills and excel at stakeholder management
  • Should possess strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to articulate changes to tool configuration to both the customer and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Japanese personnel in both the factory and Tokyo sales group. This will require evening meetings in order to meet with Japanese personnel.
