Join our team at the County of Santa Barbara and make a difference in the lives of our community members as an Assistant Director for the Behavioral Wellness Department. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill two (2) full-time Assistant Director positions, each playing a pivotal role in advancing our mission of providing exceptional behavioral health and alcohol and drug prevention services.
The Assistant Directors will integrate and develop continuity of care across operational units as well as the Department's contracted Community Based Organizations (CBOs); they serve as the Director of Behavioral Wellness in his/her absence or as designated; and perform related duties as required. The Assistant Directors will report directly to the Director of Behavioral Wellness and is accountable for all aspects of performance including but not limited to clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, staff engagement, regulatory compliance and will play a leadership role in the implementation of the program and payment reform across our Medi-Cal program.
