Job Summary
Responsible for planning and executing organizational change management (OCM) activities. Focus on changes to business processes, corporate/market initiatives, mergers & acquisitions and/or organization structures. Identifies project risks and creates mitigation strategies. Applies change management methodologies, communication planning, organizational readiness assessment and stakeholder analyses. Ability to develop communication, change management and or training plans, materials and oversee or monitor the execution to ensure adoption and minimal disruption of normal business operations.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Create supporting documentation related to adoption, recognition, communication and
learning for an ERP system. - Partner with an ERP communications person, training lead and OCM to develop OCM activities and manage aspects of change.
- Work with IT on translating their work to change management activities to engage stakeholders including developing communications, stakeholder activities and training.
- Identifying areas of resistance and developing change management strategies and activities to address the resistance.
Requirements
- Strong project management skills
- Understanding of the PROSCI ADKAR model
- Experience with ERP change management.
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
- Advanced degree or PROSCI certification may offset less experience in some disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
- PROSCI Change Management certification preferred.
- Certification and/or application of change management principles and practices such as Kotter and Bridges preferred.
- Advanced PowerPoint Skills
- Excel and Smartsheet skills preferred for Stakeholder management.
- Ability to travel 10%-50% depending on project requirements.
