We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to contribute to continuously enhancing our process design, knowledge, and capabilities. Your work can directly impact and shape the direction of North America's green energy transition.

On a day-to-day basis you work on:

  • Feasibility (Capital Expenditures and Operational Expenses), concept, and FEED studies
  • Planning, designing, construction, and integration of green fuels solutions
  • Guiding and supervising colleagues in process diagrams, calculations, P&IDs, and system designs
  • Be responsible for flowsheet calculations (mass & energy balance) for green fuels projects like processes for the production of green/e- H2, hydrogen, methanol, ammonia, jet fuel etc.
  • Safety assessment (HAZID/HAZOP)

To do well in this position, we believe that you need to enjoy delegating and supervising tasks within mass and energy balances, process flow diagrams and P&IDs. In addition to this, you should be motivated by being responsible for process design and optimization. You should have a high degree of initiative and bring a structured and committed approach to your work. You'll pursue new insights and constantly explore new ways to improve while supporting and respecting our clients, your colleagues and the planet we live on.

Furthermore, you should:

  • B.Sc or M.Sc. in Engineering (Energy/Process/Chemical) preferably combined with experience in hydrogen or fuels synthesis technologies and 10+years of experience from EPC companies as a process engineer
  • Have experience in Aspen Hysys or similar software is favorable
  • Have knowledge in chemical engineering and processing, and also chemical synthesis plants (hydrogen, methanol and ammonia)
  • Understanding of Pyrolysis, gasification or similar processes is an asset
