Job Description

Ribbon Communications is looking for a highly motivated Treasury professional to join our Treasury team based in Plano, Texas. This Analyst position will report directly to the Treasury Manager.

General Overview -

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Treasury Operations of a multinational company. This position will be responsible for global treasury operations including global cash management, trade finance, insurance risk management, foreign exchange, relationship management and other ad hoc projects as required.

Primary Job Duties -

  • Support performance management and succession planning
  • Work with various teams and stakeholders to accomplish objectives
  • Ensure compliance with policies and controls
  • Pro-actively seek out areas to add value

Global Cash Management

  • Short term borrowing/ investments
  • Executing foreign exchange trades
  • 13 week rolling cash forecast
  • Implementation and maintenance of pooling/ account structures
  • Funding and repatriation strategies
  • Review, negotiation and implementation of banking products/ services
  • Bank account administration
  • Review and implement corresponding policies and procedures including SOX controls
  • Work with key stakeholders to transform financial processes and drive automation

Trade Finance

  • Review and negotiate contract requirements for security
  • Negotiation and issuance on letters of credit/ bank guarantees
  • Manage outstanding letters of credit/ bank guarantees

Insurance Risk Management

  • Review and negotiate contract requirements
  • Procure coverage if/ where required
  • Assist with annual insurance renewal

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor`s degree in finance, accounting or economics. MBA, CPA, CTP or CFA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive Treasury experience
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data and situations, identify critical issues and influence/ lead appropriate actions
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
