Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Trainer shall report to the Project Manager and shall be responsible for providing preventative maintenance checks and service (PMCS) advisory support for a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist and oversee the training of maintenance personnel and APC crew members responsible for maintenance
  • Advise on maintenance practices and schedules
  • Assist with planning of instruction programs to maintain the APCs
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing basic level operational and field maintenance training of APC vehicles or similar.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in utilizing a software to provide logistics management support to maintain, track parts on hand, parts that need to be ordered, and price scheduling to help streamline maintenance support of APCs or similar platforms.
  • Experience with developing Programs of Instruction (POIs) for military partners in Sub-Saharan Africa.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
