Oracle WMS Support Analyst

THIS IS A 100% ONSITE POSITION LOCATED ON THE SOUTHSIDE OF INDIANAPOLIS
The Oracle WMS Support Analyst will provide exceptional customer service, quality, process improvement, and profitability by ensuring that the Oracle WMS system functionality operates smoothly. This position will use the candidate's technical proficiency, administrative experience, and security awareness to maintain the Oracle WMS System.
This role will perform administrative tasks within the Oracle environment that will include managing users, configuring system settings, and making changes that impact the overall system functionality. Additionally, this person has extensive access to system commands and tools within the system and can assume roles for specific functions.

Job Details
  • Provide day-to-day support for the WMS System
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for root cause analysis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle WMS-related issues to minimize disruptions in operations.
  • Coordinate with system providers to resolve issues quickly and enhance system capabilities continually.
  • Create and update standard operating procedures for data conversion tasks.
  • Candidate should be able to work independently work, test, document and deliver.
  • A good understanding of supply chain planning and forecasting concepts, methods, and best practices
Experience needed to be successful in this role:
  • At least 2 years' experience supporting a WMS system in an administrator, analyst, or Tier III support role. Oracle experience is highly preferred.
  • Ideally have working experience in WMS administration, configuration, support and maintenance.
  • Demonstrates ability to verbally and/or visually communicate with others.
  • Demonstrates effective analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills (can gather and analyze data and information and draw conclusions). Able to think logically and analytically.
  • Demonstrates a solution-oriented approach to solving problems.
  • Takes initiative and needs little supervision.
  • Performs responsibilities efficiently and timely.
  • Can adjust to changing workloads and hours.
  • Works well in a team environment and as part of a team.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
