Job Description

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to Human Resources and assisting current employees with various needs and requests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist HR team in carrying out various human resource projects.
  • Assist with recruitment process.
    • Deliver orientation presentation and help coordinate.
    • Communicate with the recruiting team as needed.
  • Maintain and administer all Human Resources related bulletin boards
  • Assist with EF Link and UKG application activities/support
  • Assist with I-9 Verification filing and yearly auditing.
  • Assist with everyday Walk-In Traffic
  • Performs specific administrative tasks related to personal filing, record keeping, and other areas as needed.
  • Provide general clerical assistance including:
    • Answering phones and taking messages.
    • Assist with special and seasonal events (Job fairs, EF Wellness).
    • Filing, auditing and purge files.
    • Assist with termination system process - separation letters.

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

  • Sitting is required most of the time.
  • Standing is required for varied intervals throughout the day.
  • Occasional lifting of various objects weighing 20 lbs. or less.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Good verbal and written communications.
  • Must possess basic word processing and data entry computer skills.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.
