Pen Bay Medical Center is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to join their team. HVAC experience is required. Experience in a hospital setting is preffered and candidates licensed as current Maine Bioler Operator is desireable but not required.

  • Position Summary This position consists of 40 hours per week.
    • This position is responsible for providing safe and efficient operation of boilers and related equipment for the production of steam, hot water, air conditioning and heat throughout the hospital. Also responsible for providing general maintenance, snow removal and groundskeeping as needed.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Valid HS diploma or GED preferred
    • License/Certifications: Current Maine driver's license. Preferred valid boiler operator-high pressure steam license. Must be able to obtain State boiler license within 12 months of employment.
    • Experience: Preferred experience with diesel generators, plumbing and electrical service
    • Maintains a positive attitude/behavior

    • Utilizes Hospital Resources effectively
