Role Description:
In this brand-new role, you will be responsible for the technologies that support our digital business unit including our ecommerce platform and mar-tech stack. You will have the opportunity to partner with the business leaders to define a growth roadmap, execute that roadmap, and deliver capabilities to drive sales with an exceptional customer experience. You will set strategy, develop the tactics to deliver on that strategy, and work side-by-side with your team to execute. This role reports directly to our CIO.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Oversee the digital technologies including eCommerce, related plug-ins, and marketing technologies (mar-tech)
    • Includes product management, UX/UI, development, and front-end QA
  • Lead our mar-tech transformation efforts including architecture / tech stack strategy, implementation, and support
  • Build and execute our eCommerce roadmap (in partnership with our Digital business units), solutioning, development, quality, and support
  • Support the largest business unit of our growing, PE-backed company
  • Mentor and develop your team
  • Accelerate the growth
Your background & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in eCommerce
    • DTC products eCommerce experience highly preferred
    • International eCommerce experience preferred
    • Understanding of eCommerce business models, KPIs, and how to drive improvement
  • 5+ years leading Digital Product
  • 3+ years of experience with the software development lifecycle including direct leadership of software engineers
  • 5+ years of experience administering & managing a commercial enterprise eCommerce platform (Shopify Plus, SFCC, Magento, Hybris, etc.)
    • Shopify Plus experience highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem including Apps, payment platforms, integrations, and other 3 rd party providers
  • Mar-tech
    • Solution architecture, platform selection, implementation, & management
      • CDP, ESP, SMS
    • SEO
    • Google Analytics
  • UX/UI experience preferred
  • Product and site taxonomy experience
  • Experience implementing an eCommerce experience a plus
  • Experience defining and executing a digital roadmap for eCommerce
