    This role is in the CPSG Operations function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Serve as escalation point for the most complex and specialized technical assistance related to pre- and post-sales support for CPSG product lines, and (ii) Provide consultative onsite support by utilizing industry best practices; convert customer inquiries into sales with an emphasis on customer education regarding product features and benefits. Requires 3+ years in Perimeter Access Control Industry, Door Automation, or Security Integration (or similar industry) and a minimum of a High school diploma/GED or some college or equivalent experience; industry certifications.

    Coordinator, Technical Service & Sales Overview:

  • Serve as escalation point for the most complex and specialized technical assistance related to pre- and post-sales support for CPSG product lines
  • Provide consultative onsite support by utilizing industry best practices; convert customer inquiries into sales with an emphasis on customer education regarding product features and benefits
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while processing orders, returns and customer pricing inquiries across multiple product lines; proactively identify sales opportunities and acquire business by providing differentiated technical support
  • Obtain information within CPSG's ERP that fosters a process of customer follow-up on an as-needed basis with the necessary information regarding product shipments and pricing orders, and return questions
  • Leverage resources within CPSG's ERP as well as CPSG's CRM to deliver an exceptional customer experience from the start to finish of each customer interaction
  • Verify that orders for parts and service quantities are accurate and matches shipping options to meet customer expectations
  • Stay up to date on New Technical Advances; train other CPSG employees to expand overall education
  • Promote and execute current processes and procedures; recommend opportunities for process improvement and implement new initiatives
  • Resolve reported escalations and customer complaints, as well as report product quality problems to the proper channel
  • This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed
  • Support the technical service needs of CPSG by responding to customer inquires via the National support hotline
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
  • Protect CPSG's reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
  • Coordinator, Technical Service & Sales Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED or some college or equivalent experience; industry certifications
  • 3+ years in Perimeter Access Control Industry, Door Automation, or Security Integration (or similar industry)
  • Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or vocational certification, Prior Electrical or Mechanical experience; construction specification and take-off, Proficient in Spanish
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
