City Experiences is seeking a TVM Service Technician for our NYC Ferry operation in Brooklyn.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

TVM Service Tech will be responsible for installing, servicing, adjusting, or repairing Ticket Vending Machines

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Fill machines with paper.
  • Make service calls to maintain and repair machines.
  • Inspect machines and meters to determine causes of malfunctions and fix minor problems such as jammed bills, coins or paper tickets.
  • Test machines to determine proper functioning
  • Contact other repair personnel or make arrangements for the removal of machines in cases where major repairs are required.
  • Clean and provide preventive maintenance to parts.
  • Maintain records of machine maintenance and repair
  • Replace malfunctioning parts, such printers, bill acceptors, coin dispensers, screens, credit card readers, etc.
  • Replace defective mechanical and electrical parts, using hand tools, soldering irons, and diagrams.
  • Order parts needed for machine repairs.
  • Disassemble and assemble machines, according to specifications and using hand and power tools.
  • Install new machines in compliance with codes.
  • Refer to manuals and wiring diagrams to gather information needed to repair machines.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 Years' experience
  • Knowledge of using a multi-meter to test for proper electrical voltage
  • Basic knowledge of Office 365 suite.
  • Basic IT skills preferred

Salary: $22/hour
