Summary

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Team Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

This position is based in our Saco, Maine office. This 24 hour per week position is normally scheduled 3 shifts per week, 8AM - 5PM. This position has weekend coverage responsibility.

Position Summary
  • The telehealth monitoring RN applies clinical assessment knowledge and skill along with telehealth expertise to provide remote monitoring of patient vital signs and other medical measures. This position serves as a resource to colleagues regarding the use of telehealth intervention in the treatment plan for high risk patients. The Telehealth RN promotes evidence-based care and interventions that enhance the overall care plan and is aimed at preventing emergent care and re-hospitalization. This position should be "field ready" to provide home visits when required. Position reports to the Telehealth Program Coordinator
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program.
  • License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
  • Experience: Position requires a minimum of one year of acute nursing experience. Prior Home Care or Cardiac experience is preferred.
