We are looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Antioch. This individual must have the ability to troubleshoot mechanical & electrical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility.

This position is responsible for preventative and mechanical maintenance and must possess advanced knowledge of machine repair.

The ideal candidate has a strong electrical and PLC manufacturing background.

Hours are 2pm to 10pm - Hours could change due to business needs.

  • Troubleshoot and complete electrical equipment, mechanical and pneumatic repairs and adjust as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned.
  • Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
  • Be able to complete project assignments.
  • Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.
  • Understand electrical equipment, controls, and concepts to troubleshoot equipment safely and effectively,
  • Work safely and cooperatively with other people in all areas of production, maintenance, engineering, contractors and communicate clearly and effectively to resolve issues.

Desired Experience

  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and plumbing
  • Mechanical, welding and cutting skills
  • Should be capable of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
  • Have workbench and computer skills
  • Experience using CAT ll and CAT IV Electric Meter for 480 voltage or lower electrical systems and ability to understand concepts
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • May require CPR and first aid training
  • Lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined spaced training
  • Experience with Allen Bradley and Allen Bradley PLC
