Job Description
Orbis is looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Office of the Intelligence Community Chief Financial Officer (IC CFO). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business intelligence principles, data analysis techniques, and the intelligence community landscape. There are multiple openings at the junior, mid and expert experience levels.

Key Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Analyze data to identify trends and insights relevant to IC financial management and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Leverage software/services to transform data into actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the IC on financial management and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in business intelligence and data analytics.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Senior/Expert: Bachelor's degree with 7+ years' experience in a proficiency area
  • Mid-Level: Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years' experience in a proficiency area
  • Junior Level: Bachelor's degree with 0 to 5 years' experience in a proficiency area
Required Skills/Abilities
  • U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft BI, Qlik).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills/Abilities
  • Experience with financial management and budgetary analysis.
  • Knowledge of IC structures, processes, and policies.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data management and governance principles.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Routine video conference and/or in-person meetings.
  • Ability to attend planned meetings within the Washington Metro Area region.
