About the Role:

As a project manager in the Modernization and Data Solutions practice, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, deliver, and support our clients through today's ever-changing healthcare landscape. NYSTEC is considered a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and connecting the dots for our clients. NYSTEC has consulted on some of the largest Medicaid initiatives and served in various roles across a multitude of New York State healthcare technology systems.

Serving as a project manager, your day-to-day role as a NYSTEC consultant will include applying coordination, project management, and problem-solving skills to our healthcare project(s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating key project documentation.
  • Planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Updating presentation materials.
  • Capturing meeting minutes.
  • Organizing action items, risks, and issues.
  • Assisting with project quality management.
  • Tracking project timelines and project progress.
  • Working closely with the project team and external stakeholders to ensure that key project milestones are achieved in a timely manner.
About you: Required Qualifications
  • Strong writing, documentation, communication, and analytical skills to meet project goals.
  • Experience as a project coordinator or project manager.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and to understand their needs through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communication.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with information technology projects.
  • Experience working with healthcare projects.
Education and Experience
  • A bachelor's degree and three years of related experience. An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.

The pay range for this position is $79,793.00 to $109,716.00 per year.
