Perkins Coie is seeking a lateral litigation associate for the Portland office with outstanding credentials and 3 to 5 years of experience in civil or complex business litigation. Experience may include a judicial clerkship, which is encouraged. Successful candidates will be eager to practice law at a high level, committed to professionalism and excellence, and have a strong work ethic, distinctive academic credentials, superb written and oral advocacy skills, and excellent references. Experience with large and sophisticated litigation matters and e-discovery is a plus.


The commercial litigation practice consists of the representation of a wide range of businesses and individuals in federal and state court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution venues. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial environment and work closely with experienced, collaborative practitioners on a local and national level.
