Responsibilities
The position of Corporate Counsel - Litigation will have a broad scope of responsibility assisting MSA and its global subsidiaries in managing litigation and related matters. This role will report to the Associate General Counsel - Litigation and Risk and will advise and assist on matters such as product liability and environmental litigation, insurance recovery, product safety, and emerging laws and regulations. The Corporate Counsel will help to develop and execute litigation strategy, manage outside service providers, and counsel business stakeholders on a variety of matters. The successful candidate will be able to exercise independent judgment and strategic thinking in approaching various challenges; will become a trusted advisor to the business; and will excel at identifying and implementing process improvements to support the litigation function and the Company.
