JOB SUMMARY

Draw/coordinate on a large variety of new and existing construction projects based on information derived from MEP construction drawings. Typically drawing/coordination works includes 3D modeling of all electrical systems and develop design drawings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires High School Diploma/GED and
  • 1+ years of electrical design experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Job site/field experience.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Proficient in the following design software: Revit and Navisworks.
  • Computer skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful time management skills to work on several projects concurrently.
  • Share valuable information with team members to increase department expertise.
  • Require a positive attitude and good communication skills with internal and external customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability to read, analyze, understand, and interpret design and construction documents.

  • Understanding of electrical systems.

  • Utilize BIM to increase the team's understanding of problems and solutions and assist the construction and field team in solving issues throughout the project.

  • BIM coordination and preparation of filed drawings and reports.

  • Develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity and learn how to use all software options.

  • Maintain project files.

  • Assist management with additional assignments as directed.

  • Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).
