Merakey is looking for a part time LPN to work with our new Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic in Philadelphia.

Sat and Sun 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Earn $36.60 per hour

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports clinical operations, providing essential medical and nursing care to individuals experiencing behavioral health urgent needs. This position works under the supervision of the CRNP(s) and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary BHUCC team. The LPN conducts medical screenings, performs biometric assessments, draws blood for labs, administers medications, coordinates prescription authorizations, and participates in care coordination.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Current state LPN license and registration.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health, urgent care, or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with medical screenings, biometric assessments, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Ability to administer medications, draw blood for labs and manage medication-related tasks, under the direction of a CRNP or prescriber.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals and colleagues effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and organized to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
