Job Description
The qualified individual will be responsible for software development of the Dematic extension used in the Configura CET Designer application. This extension, along with the base software, is used internally to design and provide material handling systems for our customers. This person will work within a global development team to ensure quality and provide effective solutions for the end users.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 53,000-113,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:What You Will Do in This Role:
  • Create and implement configuration management (CM) code within the Configuration Engineering Team (CET) to bolster the capabilities of the Maestro tool as a component of the business transformation effort.

  • Participate in Development Peer Review & Architecture review sessions

  • Work with the SME, POA's, Scrum Masters, Development Manager, DevOps, QA, Development team, and other Dematic Leaders

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, Root Cause Analysis, and Development Open Office Hours meetings

  • Independently write development test procedures for a given jira card displaying your understanding of the task

  • Write queries in snowflake to create Power BI reports

  • Independently resolve, sometime complex, incident tickets

  • Demo completed tasks in front of key stakeholders of the Maestro Tool

  • Support the Maestro tool by coming up with your own innovative enhancement that bring business value

What We are Looking For:
  • Proficient in object-oriented programming language with extensible syntax.

  • Willingness to work closely with other developers to gain an understanding of new features, dependencies, and technical details.

  • Must be self-motivated with analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with good interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team player with attention to detail, ability to research solutions, and a willingness to learn.

  • Sense of ownership and pride in creating impactful and quality code.

  • In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.

  • Experience with 3D design applications or 3D game development is a plus.

  • Experience with CET Designer or CET Developer is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Visual Studio, C++, or C-Sharp is a plus.

  • Experience with SQL to retrieve and manipulate structured databases is a plus.

  • Experience producing, maintaining, and publishing catalogs is a plus.

  • Knowledge of streamlined workflows for commits, branches, merge requests, and Jira issues is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
