Project Analyst or Consultant

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of the Commercial Analytics team within Aon.

You would be specializing in project management and client delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to collaborate and communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams. The Project Analyst or Consultant will be responsible for leading and executing various analytics projects aimed at driving business insights, optimizing commercial strategies, and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

This a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, or Kansas City offices.

While there is a preference for someone in the above listed locations, we are willing to consider a candidate to work virtually as well.

What the day will look like

  • End-to-end project management for commercial analytics initiatives, including product development and client delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, balancing both internal product development goals and client requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders, to align on project priorities and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Ability to manage project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuously assess and improve project management processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable project plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong decision making skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment, with a passion for project management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead teams to success, preferably in employee benefits, health analytics or related fields, with experience in both product development and client delivery.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), technical skills are a plus.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and in writing.
  • Highly organized, proactive and detail oriented
  • Strong understanding of analytics concepts, methodologies, and tools are a plus.
  • Agile or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000 - $85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
