Along with great prices, all dollars raised at our Thrift Store go right back into our Emergency Shelter programs and services. Thrift Store Associates may be assigned to any duty of the store. Although management may assign an employee primarily to certain tasks, it is expected that each person will have a familiarity with the entire operation so that any employee can work in any area where need may occur.

About the role:

  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Performs sorting and pricing of incoming donations per established policy.
  • Checks out customer purchases using cash register.
  • Performs general cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Assist driver as assigned with pickups and unloading of donations from truck.
  • Answers phones and responds appropriately to client/caller requests for information, or routes call to the appropriate person for response.
  • Other duties as appropriate and assigned.

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience: Previous retail experience and cash register/cash handling experience a plus.
