Thrift Store Associates may be assigned to any duty of the store. Although management may assign an employee primarily to certain tasks, it is expected that each person will have a familiarity with the entire operation so that any employee can work in any area where need may occur.

About the role:

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Performs sorting and pricing of incoming donations per established policy.
• Checks out customer purchases using cash register.
• Performs general cleaning duties as assigned.
• Assist driver as assigned with pickups and unloading of donations from truck.
• Answers phones and responds appropriately to client/caller requests for information, or routes call to the appropriate person for response.
• Other duties as appropriate and assigned.

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience: Previous retail experience and cash register/cash handling experience a plus.
