Overview

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for actively supporting stakeholders with data gathering, analysis, and reporting activities. This position is responsible for developing technical solutions that optimizes data extraction, visualization, tracking, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will complete tasks under minimal supervision, provide updates and recommend process improvements as needed. The successful candidate should have the ability to interface and communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders.

This position is based in TRC's San Juan, Puerto Rico office.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking of schedules, costs, risks, materials and quality and reporting on project deliverables including external contractors.
  • Support the Project Manager to ensure contract policies and practices are followed to ensure the company achieves the accepted intent of agreements, have methods to manage change/exceptions and properly protects the company from failure risks.
  • Attend meetings and working collaboratively with the Project team on project scope, schedules and costs and provide regular updates.
  • Support the Project Manager to ensure that PMO Processes, Procedures, Quality Assurance and inspection programs are being adhered to.
  • Support monitoring of the construction of all assigned projects for scope, schedule and cost changes and report on changes that can impact the project.
  • Support the Project Manager on multiple Projects with competing timelines and objectives to be achieved together under a common Capital Program.
  • Create dashboards that enable visibility of critical data.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to streamline project-related processes that ensure effective project execution.
  • Collaborate with business and external program teams to identify root cause and resolution of issues.
  • Required to work additional hours as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.
  • Experience through internships or co-ops is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining customer, client, and partner relationships with a high level of satisfaction is plus.
  • Advanced Excel, MS Project, Power BI, and Software reporting experience.
  • Demonstrated technical ability combined with the ability to work in a collaborative environment with end-users, clients, and other members.
  • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ability to manage time independently and to work effectively on a project team.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
