Ensure that staff correctly comply with the policies, procedures, schedule, and standards established by NSK.

Know, guide and ensure compliance with the procedures established by the EMS and QMS.

Ensure that EMS and QMS documents are kept up-to-date and organized.

Ensure the realization of all stages of the production process: the supply of the lines, the changes of series exchange / set up mainly the most complex, the changes and / or the necessary adjustments to maintain the desired configuration, production and quality.

Ensure that the team is trained and up-to-date in the standards, norms and procedures of NSK and that they perform them correctly (eg ckeck list of Quality / Equipment / Safety, identification of compliant and non-conforming product, special characteristics of the product, etc.).

Be an example for the team by: working according to the Service Standard of your workplace, verifying that it is updated and in accordance with the product in process suggesting improvements when necessary, and applying the Safety and Health Policy of NSK.

Approve all Production and Quality records and exchange of series / set up. Constantly evaluate whether machining condition adjustments on the machine and tool changes are in accordance with the Service Standard.

Update and report production and quality indices and define actions to contain anomalies in the process. Be a facilitator in the process of solving technical problems in the area.

Maintain records of production, equipment, deliveries and supplies. Make this information available for management.

Monitor the rejection rate and propose corrective actions to reduce and/or control production scrap.

Inspect and evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality.

Inspect incoming products and finished products to ensure quality and industry standards are met.

Identify unsafe working conditions and be a facilitator in implementing corrective actions.

Propose and articulate continuous improvement projects focused on Safety and Health.

Ensure that all necessary maintenance checks are carried out.

To be the facilitator of the process between the Maintenance area and the Production area.

Ensure cleanliness, ensure the conservation and proper use of machinery and equipment.

Perform small solutions and repairs on the machine.

Ensure that the machines and equipment needed in the production process are available and within the standards established for the smooth running of the work.

Motivate team members to improve productivity without compromising safety and quality standards. Lead the team in using lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste.

Identify the development needs of the team, provide the necessary training, keep updated the training record and the versatility matrix.

Hold the incoming meetings in order to communicate the various existing information.

Fill out reports on production, problems arising during the process and reasons for machine stoppages.

Manage your team directly and indirectly in relation to compliance with Personnel Standards (compliance with schedules, change of shifts, overtime, justifications of absences, vacation request).

Notify and keep updated the immediate manager of the area about relevant situations and anomalies in the process.

Request support from a professional with a higher degree of seniority, whenever you feel the need for support beyond the existing accompaniment, thus aiming at your learning and career development.

Maintain a professional image, in accordance with NSK's Code of Conduct, Ethics and Compliance, in all communications (oral and written) and at all times with the client, with the members of his team and with the other areas of the company.

Monitor the performance of the team. Give feedback to the Unit Coordinator on the Operator's performance, in order to perform the performance evaluations.

Prepare, develop and deliver training to your staff when needed.

Perform other tasks or functions compatible with their personal condition, upon request or determination of their immediate manager.

This job requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent and prefers 2 to 4 years of NSK experience.
