Hybrid Role, must work on-site in Jersey City one week per month.

Our industry-leading financial services client is seeking a Test Automation Engineer. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer on the Trading Engineering team, you'll get the opportunity to develop your skills and collaborate with engineers. In this role, you will be working with a team of technologists passionate about promoting testing practices, implementing test automation, and executing test suites.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
  • 5+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience.
  • Hands on experience in developing and maintaining automation test suites using common industry platforms like Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Playwright.
  • Good understanding of Java, Angular and/or Single Page Application, JavaScript and Typescript.
  • Experience in automating front-end and back-end applications.
  • Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Git and Artifactory.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps Methodologies & Continuous Delivery
  • Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
  • Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipelines
  • Works well in both a small agile team and independently and has a strong user focus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Xray.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
