Job Title: Internal Communications Specialist (Part-Time-30 hours per week)
Location: Hybrid (Training is onsite)

Hourly: Pays up to $25.00 an hour

Company Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated part-time temporary Internal Communications Specialist to join our team to ensure seamless communication flows within the organization.

Job Description: The Internal Communications Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing internal communications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting clear and concise messages, managing internal communication channels, and ensuring that all CE associates are informed and engaged with the company's initiatives and updates.

  • Support the development and oversee the implementation of effective internal communication strategies and plans to facilitate transparent and consistent messaging across the organization.
  • Write, edit, and distribute content, including newsletters, company announcements, intranet updates, and other internal communications materials.
  • Maintain and update content on the CE intranet.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather information and craft messages that resonate with all staff levels.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating internal events, such as town halls, webinars, and staff meetings.
  • Ensure communication consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with the social media team to create Associate Spotlight and Associate Event social posts.
  • Provide communications support and advice to team members regularly.
  • Manage internal communications calendar and ensure timely execution of communication initiatives.

  • An exceptional writer with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Proven success executing multi-channel communication plans.
  • Utilizing strong time management skills with a sense of urgency, able to juggle multiple ongoing projects while moving them all forward and meeting deadlines.
  • A meticulous planner, who can set priorities and keep track of details through the execution.
  • A team player who can collaborate with several key stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • This individual should have 1-4 years of experience in internal communications in-house and/or agency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and internal communication tools (e.g., SharePoint, Poppulo); Experience in Adobe Photoshop a plus.

Additional tasks/duties may be assigned at any time.

Working Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week. Specific hours and schedule are to be determined based on the needs of the company and the candidate's availability.
