BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY

The Senior Scheduling Professional, working under general supervision, is responsible for completing intricate volume scheduling, allocation, confirmation, and balancing tasks, collaborating with purchasers, pipelines, and well ownership. The role involves coordinating logistics, forecasting production, and monitoring actual daily production variances. The role contributes to optimizing market value by assisting in the preparation and monitoring of production, sales, and inventory reports, and reviewing volume control provisions in agreements. The role also actively engages with stakeholders, reconciles invoices, and plays a pivotal role in maintaining efficient operations through effective communication and proactive decision-making.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree required. Business or Logistics major preferred.

EXPERIENCE
* 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Gas Scheduling, Volume Control, Maintenance Schedule Monitoring or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Estimate daily production sales volumes and track multiple production, transportation, and well-head imbalances to optimize market value, supporting Marketers in achieving peak performance
  • Utilize multiple inter/intrastate Electronic Bulletin Board systems to submit daily nominations, meeting all NAESB/FERC cycle deadlines
  • Monitors pipeline maintenance schedules, notifying relevant stakeholders of potential impacts on gas flow, and reviews and reconciles and transportation invoices and cash outs for compliance and accuracy.
  • Reviews transportation and storage agreements for volume control provisions, ensuring meticulous attention to accuracy and compliance with established guidelines..
  • Monitor and resolve volumetric discrepancies/pipeline cuts
  • Gains expertise in pricing components and logistical costs to maximize profitability and contribute to profit analysis, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Works under general supervision, actively participates in change efforts, and establishes influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders, cultivating effective working connections.
  • Evaluates and recommends solutions independently, assesses scheduling risks, and demonstrates the ability to prioritize and complete assignments, contributing to collaborative, goal-oriented team efforts.
  • Develop/Maintain scheduling spreadsheets for tracking nominations and imbalances to aid in the optimization of daily gas flows and sales
  • Update and balance internal trading systems (Allegro) to ensure timely and accurate reporting (both daily and monthly)
  • Role will require after hours/weekend work and limited travel

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Oil and Gas Industry Experience Preferred
* Gas Scheduling experience preferred

* Demonstrate commitment to Devon Attributes
* Intermediate level computer skills
* Allegro Experience Preferred
* Knowledge of midstream facilities and marketing preferred
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Problem solving skills

* Organization skills with a strong attention to detail
