Job Description

Director, Laboratory Data Partnerships

We are currently looking for a Director of Laboratory Data Partnerships with a specialization in Molecular Testing. You will play a critical role in developing and managing strategic data partnerships, data acquisition, data asset optimization, data acquisition efficiencies, and innovative solutions to drive business value, speed, and business impact. Moreover, this person will support building capabilities and best practices in data acquisition and data partner management across the enterprise. This crucial role is the primary interface for day to day interactions of laboratory data partnership operations, strategy and transformation initiatives, as well as internal customers.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

* BS degree

* Minimum 10 years of life sciences experience in Strategic Contract/Account/Vendor Management/Metadata Management

* Minimum 5-10 years of experience in onboarding and managing various types of patient healthcare data assets, preferably laboratory

* Deep experience in risk and legal reviews of vendor contracts and licensing agreements related to external healthcare data

* Experience in sales and partnering processes and activities, including win-win contract negotiations

It would be great if you also have:

* Demonstrated ability to work with a startup mentality, driving towards goals with urgency and pivoting as required along the way

* Knowledge and experience in Laboratory Information Management software, Electronic Health Record software.

* Advanced degree in sciences or MBA preferred

What will you be doing in this role?

* Drive onboarding of data partners/assets, including data discovery discussions, cultivating new strategic relationships with emerging lab data partners

* Contribute to executing against Clarivate's rare & ultra rare disease data franchise roadmap

* Build the Genomics Data Acquisition Strategy, spearheading research & investigation for capturing demand and needs from the Rare Disease Data Franchise

* Identify the data - and the laboratories or other sources - required to meet these needs for input into business case

* Help implement strategy & drive customer satisfaction

* Responsible for both traditional and non-traditional data acquisition ensuring that both are owned, stewarded and have critical insights captured

About the Team

This team is operating as a startup within the Real World Data team, so this is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing part of Clarivate. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Business Operations, you will be part of the leadership team with expectations to grow and expand your Partnerships organization.

Hours of Work

* Full time permanent 40 h/week, Hybrid working model

* Ability to travel as needed- 15-20%
