LaForce is looking for a Warehouse/Delivery Driver to work within our shop setting to receive products, move materials, and make local deliveries via a box truck.
Starting Pay: $22-25/hr based on experience.
Major Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks both manually and with assist of lift trucks
- Check in hardware and other non-hardware items such as furniture, paper products, office products, etc.
- Forklift operation
- Label hardware per receiving sheet and separate for each specific job
- Pull stock for sales orders
- Safely balance and secure load on the truck. Effectively maneuver the truck in and out of the job sites and loading docks
- Ship confirm bills of lading after delivery
- Identify mechanical problems and/or unsafe conditions associated with the truck, the road and/or the job site
Qualifications
- High school diploma, Tech School Diploma/Certificate; and at least two years related experience and/or training
- Experience driving a 26 ft. box truck a plus
- Basic computer experience required
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A willingness to learn and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record - CDL not required
