DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Job Description
As a DevOps / Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment pipelines, automate processes, and enhance system reliability. Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Establish and manage monitoring solutions using tools such as Datadog, or custom scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline application deployment.
- Optimize resource utilization, cost, and security across cloud environments.
- Participate in risk analysis, vulnerability scanning, certificate management, password policy, security monitoring, coordination of remediations, and other daily security and compliance efforts.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least three (3) years of U.S. based experience with network and cloud engineering and performing DevOps activities in a professional capacity.
- Proficiency with AWS, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- AWS Certifications:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- AWS Solutions Architect – Associate
