Description

Core Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician:

  • Read and understand engineering drawings to Assemble and Wire components and Electrical Block Diagrams.
  • Assemble Electro-Mechanical Component
  • Set up and Assemble controllers in a timely manner, ship on-time.
  • Produce high quality products.
  • Check all Assembled parts to the dimensions specified on the engineering drawing and conform to all certification requirements.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Work to verbal and written instructions.
  • Support an environment of growth and enthusiasm with other associates.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years' experience
  • Knowledge on Electrical Troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring schematics
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good math skills
  • Know and understand "Quality at the Source"
  • Understand and practice safe working methods
  • Assembly experience
  • Be willing to work to ISO / QS 9000 standards and have a commitment to continuous
    improvement

Education Requirements:

* High School Graduate or G E D

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Peabody, MA 01960: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

    • Assembly: 2 years (Preferred)

    Ability to work independently (Preferred)
