Employment Program Support position to the INARNG. Position is in Muncie and includes working with soldiers and helping them find employment.
The Work for Warriors IN Team serves as a centralized delivery point of employment resource information, support, and referrals for Service Members (SM) and their Families across all phases of their military service career. The ES will also serve as a POC for all Battalion Career Counselors located within their Region assignments and in doing so, assist with briefing the WFWIN program as well as provide other INNG program referrals.
- Provide career support, development, and maintenance of civilian based careers. Specific services include resume writing assistance, interview skills coaching, and placement services.
- Provide compiled education, employment and community-based resources to Service Members and Veterans of all components, their Families to enhance quality of life issues and avail employment and training opportunities to Service Members, Veterans, and their Families within their local community. Contractor personnel shall not serve as representatives or employees of the INARNG, the Department of Defense or any of its Components.
- ES provide or facilitate briefings to all their assigned units.
- Provide initial contact on referrals within 2 business days. Follow-up with active cases weekly until 30 days (4 consecutive weeks of contact) without contact from the applicant or hired, follow-up with inactive cases biweekly for a period of 60 days until case can be closed.
- Accurate data collection and input to case management system
- Complete weekly and month reporting requirements.
