DSA is seeking a highly qualified PI Engineer to join our team remotely.
Required Qualifications
- US residency
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Similar
- 3+ years of work experience in a technical role
- 2+ years of experience working with the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System
- Self-starter with an ability to multi-task and effectively work on a large number of projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written proficiency in the English language
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to pass background checks
- OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System Accreditation
- Experience and interest in PI System integration work
- Experience working with or integrating with Building Automation Systems (Client), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
- General understanding of Central Plant Systems, Facility Management, and Energy Management
- Experience with Predictive Modeling, energy management, and advanced analytics is a plus
- The candidate will work remotely but strongly prefers candidates physically located in the greater Seattle area
- Participate in designing and implementing projects that provide situational awareness and operational intelligence based on the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System
- Regularly interface with building automation systems (Client), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other 3rd party systems.
- Use analytics packages (Python, R, etc.,.) to design and deploy algorithms that identify improvement opportunities and non-standard asset and system operations.
