The IIOT Solutions Manager manages a team of Software and SCADA Engineers to define the roadmaps and product specifications for various digital solutions that are and will be implemented at PENA. This role will report to Digital Transformation Group (DTG) Sr. Manager and drive for an integrated digital solution system including PLC, SCADA, and MES technologies in PENA's smart factory initiatives. Digital transformation is one of the top initiatives at PENA for achieving more efficient and profitable production outputs.

Essential Duties:

• Manages a team of software and controls engineers including prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance reviews, and overseeing the training and development of staff
• Develops effective short-term and long-term plans for the team to achieve business targets and financial goals
• Presents to executives on product roadmaps and ROIs
• Works with project management team to drive design review process
• Works with all functional teams in PENA to understand their needs for digital solutions
• Collaborates with headquarter teams and advisors on business and technical strategies
• Works with other DTG/IT team leaders to collaboratively design and implement the integrated digital solutions
• Drives and supervises the product roadmap development for various digital solutions
• Works with third parties to define product requirements and roadmaps
• Translates customer requirements to product specifications
• Applies technical knowledge to develop clear and standard work instructions
• Leads by example with a strong work ethic and a "get the job done" approach
• Has excellent time and project management skills, including effectively allocating time and resources, clearly tracking project progress, and delivering accurate results by deadlines
• Participates in and supports the Company's Continuous Improvement program and projects
• Effectively communicates and works with management teams, team members, and related divisions (e.g. Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Control)
• Executes high performance culture and servant leadership
• Performs other duties as assigned

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

• To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees', wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

• Basic/Required: Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines
• Preferred: Master's Degree

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7+ years of Technology or Engineering experience in manufacturing, automation, equipment development, or design
• Minimum of 4+ years of Technology or Engineering management experience
• At least 4 year of IIoT experience including rapid design, prototyping, and deployment of embedded systems
• Well-versed in industrial IoT sensors, PLCs, MES, edge devices, data aggregators, and/or historian systems
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and have skills and experiences with industrial automation and control systems like PLC, HMI, or DCFs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred 7+ years of control engineering or software engineering experience
• Proven record of leading full cycle engineering, from solution concept to final product
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Six sigma green belt
