Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mimecast Professional Services Consultant to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include presenting, and implementing Mimecast's Professional Services offerings for our customers. As a PS Consultant, you will begin to build strong relationships with our Support, Product Management, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Sales Teams, contributing to the ongoing success
of our products.


What You'll Do

  • Assist customers in implementing Mimecast Services and ensure successful deployment

  • Support email archive migrations from different email archive solutions

  • Escalate and track issues and feature requests with the Mimecast Support and Product Development teams

  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional products and services

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs

What You'll Bring

  • Proficiency in IT administration and support of Microsoft Exchange on prem, Microsoft Azure and Exchange Online, Google Workspace, or other email systems

  • Advanced knowledge of technical requirements (from a client perspective) related to Mimecast implementations, including SMTP, LDAP(S), Active Directory, SSL Certificates, MX records, and journaling

  • Familiarity with email archive solutions such as Enterprise Vault or others

  • Experience with email gateway solutions like Mimecast, MessageLabs/Symantec Cloud, Proofpoint, etc.

  • Comfortable using MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) to develop pre-sales materials and project deliverables

  • Exposure to Archive & Email Migration tools

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with personnel at all levels, including C-level staff.

  • Familiarity with scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VBScript, and C# is a plus

The US base salary range for this position is $64,000 - $96,000 base + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonus, and other related benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
