Who we are looking for:

Cornerstone Servicing is seeking a seasoned Sr. Servicing Transfer Coordinator that has strong project management skills to ensure efficient, timely and successful servicing transfers. This role is responsible for coordinating with external counterparties, vendors and internal partners. Along with understanding prior servicer practices that may impact future servicing & ensuring images, data and reporting are timely and completely received. The coordinator will ensure internal and effectively review inbound loan data/images, and ensure customer communications are sent in a timely manner.

  • Salary: $85-110k
  • Location: Onsite daily in Englewood, CO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using your exceptional understanding of the mortgage servicing transfer process, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding customer notifications relevant to servicing transfers. This includes Goodbye Letters, Hello Letters, and Validation of Debt letters
  • You will keep up with changing regulatory requirements that impact the servicing process in order to facilitate and handle complex servicing transfers, with an emphasis on preventing all negative borrower impact.
  • You will use strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with counterparties, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Using your strong servicing industry understanding on how different products and loan statuses can impact other internal Cornerstone departments, you will ensure that Cornerstone servicing teams are properly notified and prepared to handle unexpected incoming loan scenarios or volumes; and you will work with management to escalate any potential gaps.
  • Using your extensive experience and knowledge of technology tools and project management techniques, you will look for, recognize, provide project reporting, and escalate when necessary roadblocks to timely and effective transfers.
  • You will be responsible for initiating and actively participating in ad-hoc and routine meetings.
  • You will participate in internal team UAT (user-acceptance testing) processes in order to improve loan boarding systems and tools.
  • Using your strong interpersonal skills, you will help to lead, train, guide and mentor newer or more junior Servicing Transfer team members

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Computer Science, Management Information Systems and/or Business Administration, or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mortgage servicing industry experience, preferably within Loan Boarding/Transfers group
  • Exceptional understanding of data formats with an emphasis on data integrity while converting from one servicing system to another
  • Exceptional experience with managing loan origination boarding and bulk service transfer processes, including NPL (non-performing loan) and distressed asset servicing transfers
  • Ability to assist other more junior members of the Servicing Transfer team by providing guidance based on experience and intuition
  • Strong ability to multitask while maintaining proper attention to detail and while prioritizing a diverse workload with time-sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to perform change-management duties
  • Exceptional time and organizational management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in addition to verbal/written communication in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Exceptional proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Access, Word, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio SELECT statement experience preferred
  • Experience with Black Knight's MSP Servicing system and LoanSphere Loan Boarding application preferred
