This opportunity is in the Insurance Compliance Department.

Role Description:

In the role of Insurance Compliance reporting coordinator, you will be part of our Policy Reporting Team. This team has primary responsibility for the timely and accurate reporting of workers' compensation and auto liability policy coverage data to state and insurance regulatory bureaus. The Policy Reporting team works directly with both internal and external stakeholders to secure reporting data, help solve reporting errors or state criticisms, and respond to inquiries regarding coverage reporting matters.

In this position you will independently perform a variety of both routine and non-routine tasks relating to workers' compensation coverage reporting. You will work under general supervision and your assignments will be moderately complex, requiring the use of limited judgment and initiative.

Some of the essential functions of this role are the following:

  • Reporting pre and post Proof of Coverage (POC) data inclusive of tasks relating to new, renewal and endorsement policy transaction reporting.
  • Identifying and resolving errors or issues that impact accurate reporting.
  • Monitoring insurance bureau reporting sites for data acceptability, accuracy, credibility, rejections and other posted errors in addition to conducting tasks relating to the internal reporting and resolution of such findings.
  • Entering and monitoring reporting activity on internal tracking sources and assisting in ensuring the timely completion of action items.
  • Monitoring and internal reporting on the successful operation of robotic automation tools that aid in Bureau reporting.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate degree or higher preferred.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior professional office experience (may be from internship).
  • Solid professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable, detail orientated, organized, self-motivated, accountable, able to effectively prioritize and easily pivot between varied tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience in the commercial property & casualty industry.
  • Experience with NCCI, PEEP (CDX) reporting.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
