Job Title: Lab Support Lead

Location: 2001 Brainard Rd Ft Huachuca, Arizona 85613

Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret

SUMMARY
Joint Interoperability Test Command ( JITC) provides DoD Enterprise Unified Capabilities (UC) Approved Products List (APL) Test and Evaluation Services in accordance with the UC Requirement (UCR) documented and mandated by DoD Instruction (DODI) Instruction (DODI) 8100.04.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide daily management and oversight of the Unified Capabilities (UC) Test and Evaluation Facility to support Approved Product List (APL) Certification for UC products.
* Provide technical oversight of Cyber and Interoperability planning, test execution, and reporting of UC products.
* Provide technical review and guidance of UC documentation such as Certification Letters, Cyber Assessment Reports (CARs), and Unified Capabilities Requirements (UCR).
* Provide technical guidance and system engineering support during technical interchange meetings, weekly meetings, Initial Contact Meetings (ICMs), meetings with the Government and Product Vendors to provide technical advice, solutions for lab capabilities and testing requirements.
* Assist the Government with development of UC product requirements, existing and new for updates as required to the UCR.
* Provide solutions and implement technical guidance within the UC T&E Facility to provide quality T&E methods for UC APL Testing.
* Provide technical guidance in the development of test procedures and requirements validation for multiple product categories for UC APL Testing.
* Evaluate Desk Top Review (DTR) submissions and make recommendations to the Government for evaluations requirements.
* Understand Risk Management Framework (RMF) DoDI process and be able to update requisite annual documentation including Cybersecurity Architecture Document, Standard Operating Procedures and other related security engineering documentation.
* Travel 10 to 15% for industry conferences and working groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* Requires a Master's degree; or a Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; or an Associate's and at least 6 years of experience. One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Additional certifications (other than those required for the position) in the area of specialization may be substituted for experience but varies by certification. The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills
* Must be DoD 8570 compliant, at minimum Security +.
* Knowledge and experience with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Implementation Guides (STIGs), IPV scanning using NESSUS and NMAP scanning tools, security controls.
* Knowledge of various UC products such as: Enterprise Session Controllers, Session Boarder Controllers, Data Storage Controllers, Assured Services Local Area Networks (ASLAN), Customer Edge Routers, Soft Switches, Unified Capabilities Conferencing Systems, Unified Capability Collaborative Products, Video Distribution Systems, Radio Gateways, Internet Protocol (IP) and IP to Time Division Multiplexer Gateways, Data Storage Controllers, and Customer Premise Equipment.
* Desired Knowledge and experience with DoD Zero Trust Architecture, Software Defined Networking, Next Gen 9-1-1, and/or Policy-Based Phone Routing.
* Desired Knowledge and experience with IPv6 networking, including policy such as: NIST USGv6 and NSA IPv6 security recommendations.
* Have practical and working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, advanced level knowledge MS Excel and MS Project applications.
* Quality interpersonal skills
* Must be able to multitask and be organized
* Quality oral and written communication skills
* Must be a self-starter and motivated with the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
* Analytical minded with the ability to learn, understand and implement customer processes and objectives.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environmental Conditions
* Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. General lab environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 30% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands
* Medium - 50 lbs. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
