Come join our lending team as the Branch Sales Manager for the Jacksonville market and take your career to a level unattainable in a traditional bank environment! The Branch Sales Manager is responsible for developing the Jacksonville Market. This includes business development, assistance with the establishment of a physical branch and the hiring and development of talent for the branch. In a Branch Manager capacity this role will be responsible for meeting and exceeding budgeted deposit and consumer lending goals as well as overseeing the branch office operations and ensuring superior customer service.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source, cultivate and manage client relationships with metrics to include loan growth, deposit growth, and non-interest income.
  • Network in target market communities to build relationships and promote Climate First Bank and its upcoming physical presence in the market.
  • Partner with lenders in other markets on sales calls to prospective customers.
  • Support branch opening efforts including being a point of contact for contractors and internal partners, staffing and training.
  • Manage and oversee branch operations, incl. staff management. Schedule and hold weekly sales/operational meetings. Provide agenda and appropriate goals, achievements, rankings, and product information.
  • Participate in sales, services, and product meetings.
  • Ensure production goals are met.
  • Ensure that all branch staff deliver superior customer service, incl. short response and processing times and high accuracy, active listening and consultative cross selling.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of all products and services offered.
  • Proactively prospect referrals to other lines of business.
  • Open and close the branch. Maintain and stay abreast of security policies and procedures. test security equipment, oversee teller and vault cash audits, understand and follow procedures in case of robbery or other emergency, enforce dual controls procedures at all times.

Specific Requirements:

  • Superior networking abilities and extensive knowledge of the Jacksonville market.
  • Experience with developing new markets.
  • Experience working for a smaller community bank preferred.
  • Experience with the development, set up and management of new branches.
  • Excellent sales, interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Significant banking and leadership experience required.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Prior consumer & small business commercial lending experience required.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Educated in financial products and services, banking regulations and laws.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate interest in contributing to and working by Climate First Bank's Core Values.
  • Possess the initiative to obtain education related to sustainability practices.

Physical Demands:

  • Sustained standing and sitting.
  • Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor.
