We have an exciting HR Manager opportunity in our Perryton, TX office. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the company's leadership team, supporting 350 employees. You will be setting the culture, coaching employees and managers managing and advising on HR policies and guidelines and partnering with the talent acquisition team on for hiring initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

  • Provides support and guidance to direct reports, management, and others when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
  • Partners with the leadership team to implement the business unit's annual operating plan and understand and explain the relationship of the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Coach and counsel leadership and staff in performance management and employee engagement as part of a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate and support operations management with employee retention and staffing needs.
  • Plans, directs, manages, administers, and coordinates teamwork activities relating to employment/staffing, onboarding/orientation/training, benefits compensation, and employee/labor relations.
  • Manages team and individual performance; sets appropriate performance objectives and holds self and team accountable for achievement, taking appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team / personal goals.
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions and conflict resolution as needed.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborates with the recruiting team and hiring managers by interviewing, hiring qualified applicants for open positions and ensuring successful selection and onboarding of top talent.
  • Investigates and resolves employee relations issues and complaints.

Minimum QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree and 2+ years' experience in human resources, or related field, and/or equivalency between experience and education
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience in planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by business partners.
  • Microsoft Office suite experience and proficient Excel skills.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resources information systems (HRIS) ADP preferred.
  • Bilingual; English and Spanish preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment includes a normal office environment as well as climate extremes in all areas of live operations. Incumbent may be required to travel to farm sites, remote facilities, and/or corporate offices for training.
