Role Description

As a Marketing Automation Manager working on the Growth team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our Email strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, technical skills, and creativity to deliver successful programs at scale. With a focus on cross-sell and engagement, you will develop the foundations for our email marketing efforts and have a direct impact on our Growth objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Email Strategy Development: Partner with the Growth teams to create the strategy for email with a focus on cross-sell and engagement of users from within our existing Dropbox customer base.
  • Design and Delivery: Lead the execution of building high-performing emails and prompts by partnering with agencies and using internal marketing automation systems.
  • Data-Driven Experimentation: Develop a pipeline of experiments to implement a rigorous testing framework that allows us to rapidly learn and operationalize wins.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvements.
  • Customer Insights and Segmentation: Utilizedeep customer insights to segment the audience effectively and tailor marketing campaigns that resonate with each segment.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Work closely with Product and Channel owners to create learning feedback loop and ensure that strategies are aligned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or a related field
  • 6-10 years of experience in marketing automation with a proven track record of successfully implementing email programs that drive growth
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL to effectively measure results and inform marketing strategies and decisions
  • Experienced at running A/B tests to rapidly experiment, operationalize, and optimize
  • Deep understanding of industry standards and best practices for email marketing
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to partner with key stakeholders in achieving collaborative goals
  • Innovative mindset, with an eye for identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities in a dynamic market landscape
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with other Marketing Automation channels such as Prompts or Push Notifications a plus
  • Experience using Marketing Automation and Experimentation tools such as Iterable and GrowthBook
  • Experience working in Tech/SaaS companies
