Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Material Handler C works under close supervision to pull, pack and prepare materials for movement through the facility and customers safely and efficiently. Will use a variety of forklifts and other moving equipment. Perform basic inventory transactions using company computer system

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, or racks by hand.
- Enters and maintains accurate computerized inventory records
- Communicates professionally with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Supports an environment of continuous improvement to reduce waste and control costs.
- Maintains safety standards and OSHA compliance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months warehouse experience.
- Ability to maneuver 70 pounds and safely push carts, dollies, and operate other material handling equipment.
- Basic Math skills and ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with forklift and other warehouse machinery.
- Demonstrates organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Efficient use of computers and desktop applications
