Legal Processing Service Analyst


The Legal Processing Service (LPS) Analyst role will be responsible for the interpretation and coordination of responding to third party legal services including subpoenas and summonses.

Position Competencies
Successful incumbents possess strong multi-tasking skills, customer service orientation and ability to maintain composure during stressful situations, ability to work under pressure and deadlines, strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Position Requirements:

  • Review and interpret third party legal services response requirements.
  • Search and identify product type/case information relative to Comerica relationships.
  • Gather relevant documents by performing all the activities needed to gather information, request documentation from across the organization and coordinate court appearances.
  • Communicate with requesters of third-party legal services.
  • Negotiate the scope and response deadlines for third party legal services with requesters.
  • Interact with Corporate Counsel, business unit personnel and management to address third party legal service requests.
  • Prepare, maintain, and organize documents to ensure completeness, accuracy and relevance of documentation being released to requesters of third-party legal services.

Position Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited college with coursework in Law or Finance
  • 2 years of experience researching and analyzing documents
  • 2 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
