Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Software Developer based in Lexington, KY. The Software Developer is responsible for the implementation and design of the user interfaces of web-based and desktop applications, along with backend services and databases. This will include the creation of unit and integration tests to meet our coverage objectives.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Full-stack development of new products.
  • Full-stack maintenance development of existing products.
  • Daily stand-ups.
  • Weekly alignment meetings.
  • Work with team leads and product managers to plan and assign work items.
  • Work with the technical support team when troubleshooting issues on released software.
  • Work with other software and firmware teams on cross-functional and cross-team products.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • University or College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Understanding of a multi-tiered architecture:
    • Visual Studio 2022 IDE
    • C#, VB.NET
    • Desktop development using WPF
    • ASP.Net MVC, HTML, CSS3, Java script, JSON, XML
    • Microsoft SQL Server, Stored Procedures.
    • Entity Framework
    • ASP.NET Web API
    • .NET Framework 4.x
    • .NET 7 and .NET 6
    • Agile/Scrum process and applied software development best practices.

WHAT WE PREFER

    • Telerik UI Component Suite experience
    • Blazor/Razor/Angular

  • DevOps
    • Azure DevOps experience
    • Atlassian Jira/Bitbucket/Confluence experience
    • xUnit/nUnit.
