Your Role:

The PT/OT Secretary provides administrative secretarial support functions to the Occupational and Physical Therapy departments' manager and staff at PBMC. Serves as a receptionist and scheduler to both departments. Utilizes and maintains departmental computerized registration, scheduling, statistical, billing, transcription, and word processing systems.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    • Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred. Post-secondary education is preferred.
    • License/Certifications: N/A
    • Experience: Two years in administrative support position.
    • Fundamental skills in using PC with Windows Operating System (managing windows, files, programs, shortcuts, logins; ability to use a keyboard and mouse).
    • Ability to organize, change, and save documents/worksheets using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
    • Ability to design, create, organize, change and save, troubleshoot documents/worksheets using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Skill in prioritizing workload for departments; dealing with the public in a professional manner; computer literacy skills in Windows office software; strength in organizing schedules and other performing clerical functions, able to work as a team member, within the department and across hospital departments.
